VOLUNTEER NOW

Do you want to be a volunteer, but aren't sure of the opportunities that are available in your local community? Volunteer Centers in North Carolina are the key resource for volunteer involvement in local communities across the state. They make up the largest infrastructure dedicated to volunteerism and volunteer efforts. Staff at a local Volunteer Center can tell you about volunteer opportunities that are available in your community. Volunteer Centers are located in 51 of the state's 100 counties. Please email volunteerctrs@ncmail.net for additional information.

If you want to be a volunteer, find the Volunteer Center in your region or county.

Are you a Senior Citizen who wants to volunteer? For more than 30 years, the Senior Corps has linked more than 500,000 older Americans to volunteer opportunities in local communities. The Foster Grandparent Program, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and Senior Companion Program help older citizens find service opportunities in their local community. You may contact bwinston@cns.gov for additional information about these programs or click on the links below to locate a Senior Corps program in your community.
